Pierre Huygue - LIMINAL
In 2024, the Fondation Pinault hosted Pierre Huyghe's exhibition Liminal at Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana in Venice. For this major event, we had the honor of collaborating with the Pinault Collection to design a unique floor, specially conceived to enhance the mood of the exhibition and offer visitors an immersive experience.
The floor, made of black compacted earth, blends harmoniously into the space, playing on a variety of visual effects in perfect harmony with Pierre Huyghe's vision. The installation process was carefully adapted to the specificities of the site and local materials, helping to reinforce the organic and captivating aspect of the installation.
Our intervention added an extra visual and sensory touch to the exhibition, transforming the floor into an artistic element in its own right. This project demonstrates our commitment to collaborating with prestigious institutions on bespoke creations that enhance the space while enriching the perception of the artistic work.
